01 — A Little About Me
Akhil's journey began in television in 2012, before he moved into the film industry to work under National Award-winning editor B. Ajithkumar. Since then he has cut feature films, documentaries, trailers, teasers and digital content alongside acclaimed filmmakers and production teams.
For him, editing is more than assembling shots — it's discovering the emotional rhythm of a story. Alongside editing, he specializes in color grading, shaping the visual identity of each project through balanced color, mood and cinematic aesthetics. He founded Visual Triangle in 2021 to bring that same discipline to enterprise and technical storytelling.

03 — The Journey Behind the Frame
Beginning his career under the mentorship of National Award-winning editor B. Ajithkumar, Akhil has since worked across feature films, documentaries and promotional content alongside acclaimed filmmakers including Rajeev Ravi, Geetu Mohandas, M. Manikandan and Anurag Kashyap — contributing to critically acclaimed, festival-recognized and commercially successful projects.
He has developed a particular specialization in trailers and high-impact promotional content, cutting the official trailers and teasers for Thuramukham and Kuttavum Shikshayum with director Geetu Mohandas. He has also assisted renowned colorist Jayadev Tiruveaipati (JD) on the DI for Thuramukham and Maharaj, and served as Online Editor on Toxic — conforming, finishing and delivering feature films to the highest technical standard.
